Our Producers

Here, we proudly present the producers we have the pleasure of working with. So far they are scattered around the rolling Langhe and Monferrato hills, but we are ready to expand to other regions of interest.

We seek to work with producers farming sustainably, keeping in mind that the soil should be usable for future generations to come. But most importantly, they create wines that we are proud to represent.

Bussi Piero

In the wine-growing hills between Langhe and Monferrato, close to the village Calosso, is this traditional winery located. Run by Federico Bussi, fourth generation of the Bussi family, they now have twelve hectares of vineyards, focusing on quality in both vineyard and cellar.

Qimisola

Qimisola is situated in the Bionzo area and born out of a holiday trip where the couple Qi and Lars, Chinese and Danish, fell in love with the area, the people, the food and the wine.

After searching for “the perfect place” to settle down, they stumbled over an “ugly duckling” property, saw its potential and aided by local craftsmen, created the Qimisola winery.

The winery is closely linked to Qi and Lar’ family values of openness, consistency, transparency and love, and that’s also how they want to make their wines: Natural and authentic, true to the nature of the grapes and territory, but also open for innovation.

The name Qimisola consists of the first two letters of the whole family – Qi, Mikkel, Soren and Lars.

Ca' Barun

Ca Barun means “the house of the Baron” and refers to the house where the winery is located. In 2007 the house and its premises were bought by the Danish businessman Peter Thomsen, who for a long time had a passion for wine and a love for Italy, and suddenly found himself as the owner of a wine estate. Peter decided to start learning about winemaking and have acquired his skills mainly from interacting with other local wine producers and practicing in the vineyard and vinery.

His philosophy to winemaking is to make honest wines based on a sustainable production, and get a good expression of the terroir into the glass. The wines have over the years become very appreciated by wine lovers from different corners of the world.
